On Broadway

I just returned from my first Broadway musical experience...The Little Mermaid.  Obvi.  It was absolutely magnificent!  The show was excellent and the costumes were just spectacular.  I can't wait to go to my next show!   I had so much fun with Aunt and Brenda while they were here.  They're ridiculously scatterbrained, and pretty much everyone thought I had two moms, but it was entertaining to say the least.  I purposely dressed to match the show tonight, but I had no idea they were both going to wear turquoise also.  We looked like a school of fish walking down Broadway.  So much so that some passersby asked if we were in the show!
I'm still in disbelief that I'm actually here in NYC.  Walking down the street today, I was listening to "Marching Bands of Manhattan" on my iPod and it struck me that, hey!  I'm in Manhattan!

I think I can get used to this.

LOVE NEW YORK!
Go though NY and look up in the sky, that is where the art is. The architecture and detail in the buildings is just unbelievable. Love Greenwich Village, The Little Mermaid, the unexpected and Heath Ledger.

I did not like the yellow taxi cabs with horns, 8.00 toll for the Lincoln tunnel, 40.00 for parking and the fact that Heath is gone.

I miss and love you and I will be praying for your safety.

I will be back!

Love

Aunt

Ariel-

Now that you are a New Yorker, you will be able to sing the song with Frankie Sinatra - New York, New York.

Some time try the hot dogs on the street corner. If you dont you will always smell them.

Watch the subways and PATH trains - you will be able to write a book about the experiences in New York!!

This is YOUR time of your life!!!!

VA friend,
sue

So glad to see an update, told your aunt that I was having withdrawals. See, I am living vicariously through you right now, with all your big New York adventures!!! I am SO very excited for you and all the amazing experiences you are encountering. I know this is the right place for you (for now!) and am so proud of you and your courage. Keep up the good work, and don't forget about us "little folk" back home at the beach. Willie and the girls send their love too!
